What we read

It goes without saying that while the internet and television have taken over much of our daily information funnels, there are many of us that still enjoy sitting down at a local coffee shop and flipping our fingers through the news stand papers supplied. While there are many publications available, it’s impossible to help but recognize three that every native San Jose person has read, and still reads, while relaxing along the curb side patios of our city.

The Metro. By far the most distributed paper in the city, The Metro is one of the top sources for local information on movies, events, clubs and alternative news stories that focus on our specific niche markets, not corporate America.

The Wave. While the Wave covers many local events, dining and nightlife. The magazine also works with promoting many local businesses by writing about them as a way of connecting readers with neighborhood surroundings they might have missed.

Content Magazine. Soon to be entering its second year of publication, this formerly online exclusive ezine, now offering print on demand, features local writers, artists and the inspiring tales of our city. Released only four times a year, each issue is dedicated to specific theme and the written mood is addicting.
